What We Do

Knox County Rescue responds to every motor vehicle accident with injury within Knox County.

Knox County Water Rescue Team has multiple capabilities and an array of equipment including multiple boats, sonar, equipment for swift-water and topwater rescue as well as underwater dive rescue.

Knox County Rescue’s Heavy Rescue Team is equipped to respond to accidents involving large vehicles such as semi trucks, dump trucks, and trains.

KCR’s Trench/Collapse Team responds with equipment necessary to rescue victims of a trench collapse, for example at a construction site, or building collapse as seen following an earthquake.

Knox County Rescue’s Technical Rescue Team responds to any rescue requiring rope work for ascending or descending.

Knox County Rescue teams respond to downed aircraft within Knox County and the region.

Knox County Rescue provides medical quick response teams for large community events in Knoxville and Knox County.
